You compile the source code to built the executable which is then used to run the game and the executable is normally located under the example/ directory of the source code.

It is not an IDE like DarkBasic. On the other hand you won't run out of flexibility and power like you can with DarkBasic and co. It's hard to rewrite an IDE. It's easy to rewrite Torque.

I downloaded a demo of Torque and it won't open , it said there was and illegal operation.
What's wrong with it

Posting in the public torque forums will get you a better answer. Most people who work with Torque read that area. Not so many read this one.
