Problem with textures in maya2dts

Hi,
I am playing with maya2dts (which I recompiled for Maya6, it's here: www.geocities.com/hikingpenguin/maya2dts.zip ), but I am experiencing a strange problem with texturing. The "Repeat UV" parameter in the place2dTexture node seems to be ignored, the texture covers up 100% of the surface and I seem to have no way to tile it. Am I doing something wrong ?
Cheers
Guido

What Maya version are you using ? Could you send me a very small textured object with UV repeat so I can try to convert it ?

Whenever I try building the Maya2dts data, i get errors saying it cannot find "Maya/MPxFileTranslator.h". I figure this is part of the Maya SDK, but I am unable to locate a site to dl this. Can someone point me into the right direction for this. Thanks.

C:\Programmi\Alias\Maya6.0\include\maya
so I need to add
C:\Programmi\Alias\Maya6.0\include\
to my vc++ include path.

That file is part of the standard maya includes distribution, in my case it's underC:\Programmi\Alias\Maya6.0\include\maya
so I need to add
C:\Programmi\Alias\Maya6.0\include\
to my vc++ include path.

Did you ever get your issues with "repeat UV" sorted out? I am having the exact same problem: Even though I set "repeat UV", and everything looks fine in Maya, the texture is still stretched over the entire model once it is exported.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

that's the dark gray part of the uvediter move uv's outside that and you will have a mess
if you cant fit all your uvs on one texture make a new material with its own texture place the remaining uvs on that you can have more then one material on a model

You cant "repeat UV" you need to texture/uvmap right keep your textures inside the bounding box that's the dark gray part of the uvediter move uv's outside that and you will have a mess
