I want to add a spawnhere marker to the playerdroppoints simmgroup... but how do i do that using the map editor. It never gets placed where it should be in the tree structure. or do i have add it manually, not using the editor?

This doesn't seem to work, has it changed since 2001? :)

Actually I found the answer.
when in the game, hit F11, then F4 for world creator.
in the upper RH group, hit the plus + sign then highlight the sim group playerdroppoints. Press alt key and highlight the playerdroppoint again.then in the lower RH pane of screen, expand the shapes then Misc group. You will now see the choice of spawnsperemarker
Hit that once and a sphere will appear around you if you left the world creator mode to drop new objects at screen center.
save the mission file and then re-enter the mission and your player will drop in at that new spawn point.
Hope that helps.

Hold down the "alt" key and then click on "PlayerDropPoint" this will highlight is sligtly. I mean slightly in not very much but it do get a little brighter.
Now you select your spawnsphere normaly by just clicking on it with no extra key pressed.
Now moved the SpawnSphere by pressing "ctrl" + "m" and it will move to the highlighted PlayerDropPoint.
