I'm a newbie here

Hi all, first off, I'm new to the Torque engine. I'm familiar with UnrealED 3.0, so I'm hoping Torque won't be too much different. So far though, I've found that I need to use Quark to make maps. But from the get-go, Quark doesn't seem very intuitive.
Does anyone have any tips and whatnot for a newbie? I've all but thrown out everything I know from the Unreal stuff.

Second, UnrealED works kind of the opposite way of QuArk. Instead of substracting the level out of a huge block, you build the level/building. So its better to forget the UnrealED workflow, and start reading up on some Quark tutorials etc (if level building is what you want to do)
