Best layout for creating a website

What would you rather see in a website?
Flash Introduction or no intro?
Frames or no frames?
Flash menu or not?

I'm creating a site to post my works which will contain art, sounds, music, and animations. Plenty of content but, I want to know what is a good type of layout to present my material. All and any opinions will help.

Kirby, I know. Our web page ended up using plain old HTML and dreamweaver actions. But using flash is a lot nicer and more like using a DTP package, nice clean fonts and fewer restrictions, no messing around with multiple cells and trying to get everything aligned correctly. It just makes designing something as easy as it should have been all along.

the little flash thing is simply convenient and a lot easier to manage than nested tables with many little images to juggle, and the result is much cleaner and possibly faster to load than all the images and states seperately. not sure.

I'm not convinced thateveryone has flash installed though, and judging by the thread it looks like most see it as a neccessary evil in order to navigate the web.
