Joystick Use

I posted to the Peripherals portion of the forums earlier, but haven't yet got a response. How do I use the joystick under Linux from Torque? I see the code that utilizes the SDL for joystick access. I attempted to add some bindings to the joystick to my config.cs file as mentioned in the Peripherals forum but it didn't get anything.

Any ideas? Sample code somewhere I could look at?
