IsTSE going to be added to rw?

I recently got the rw head and found it has alot of stuff i been struggling with the past weeks already in.

So i was thinking if you are going to add TSE to rw i will definately turn my sites to rw.

The ultimate problem with doing this right now is that this would force Realm Wars to be a Windows only product until TSE adds support for OpenGL shaders (provided that the OpenGL commitee can actually finalize on one).

There may come a time in the future when we will see this, but as of right now it is doubtful that you will see a TSE version of Realm Wars. Besides, we feel that the game is still fun and enjoyable regardless if it has shaders in it or not.

I'd rather see RW become a fun, popular game, then get more awesome graphics. :)

Not that it's my place to say, just my opinion.

I agree with you Ben, as do the people who are helping to slowly get the next release of Realm Wars going (doing what they can in their very limited free time). So now you know our secret plans... we will have to find a way to quiet you now :)

Lol, i agree with ya both fun is the more important thing.

The best fun is learning how things work and work together, I stayed away from rw so i would be forced to figger it out myself.

I'm working on single player and had to have a "choose player gui" and ran accross the guiPlayerstuff which led me to peak at your code

Ive been playing with ai,pwrups, npc popups, teleports, and level exits and other sp stuff.

How hard is it to get new features in the head? I mean i dont really want to be the one to put stuff in the head cvs, but it would be nice to have a good single player base started some wheres.

Im going to dev rw for a while, i just may learn a thing or two.

Ace please feel free to Dev away. We might be making a few changes to the RW CVS as we progress ahead and tweak as well as fix some bugs and so forth. If you have anything cool that you want to add in (or perhaps fixed) please let me know and I can get it back into the RW CVS.

This has nothing to do with this subject, but what are the requirements for RW? (on Mac OS X)

I really dont know a thing about macs, but i would be pretty sure its the same requirements for torque. I have a low end machine, a pentium 3 450 running a tnt2 (one of my kids rigs) it runs torque and realmwars just fine although i think with the tnt2 is a bit of a bottle necK (not somthing i would use)
