Updated sound modules

I know someone is working on patching up some of the Torque sound library. I am just curious on when the next realease will be? I know that some of the issues are to blame on openAL, but the torque issues themselves sure could do a makeover. I was able to get more than half the demo sounds working on some of the boxes here, but I still seem to have run into a brick wall, even when using direct samples from other areas including K. Finney's book.

To make the situation worse, I even recently downloaded the new GG game Fruit-Fucker, and it seems not even any sound can be heard on that one. Interresting, as it seems from reading the credits a lot of effort went into doing sound/music for it at the end. Who else has the same issues?

Try to put a copy of OpenAL32.dll into your main PP directory. After installing PP on one computer, it also wasn't getting any sound. All the other Torque games had that file in their main directory so I thought I'd stick it in there and see what happens. Sure enough, it worked.

Sounds like a lot of people aren't getting any audio. That's a shame. ;)
