License Questions

Hi all, I am the project manager of a game. Ive done the majority of the design work and will be doing the art assets for the most part. With this in mind, having the license owned by me would be ideal except I wont be the one doing the coding.
If I purchase the license for my programmer I wont have access to all aspects of the game and the private forums. Also if my programmer decides to leave the project, he cant tranfer the ownership back to me.
Are we allowed to share the same login without breaking the EULA? Or can I allow a programmer access to private forums and the code source under my name?
If a team member is working on scripting language, is this considered a programming seat, and requiring another license?
thx much

If you want to have a per-seat option, purchase the commercial license.

I hope you understand my situation that the programmer is not always the one in charge of running the project.
also if I had enough spare cash to purchase a commercial license I wouldnt be having any issues. I could buy 5 indie licenses for that price. Right now its a matter of me paying rent or purchase multiple licenses =)

Alright, is there anything I would need as a non-programmer in the private forums?I hope you understand my situation that the programmer is not always the one in charge of running the project.

If you're not a coder, there's nothing you'd need in the private forums, really - all it is is discussing the engine code :)

And I hope you don't go through that many programmers... Ugh.

True enough, but if you think that your project will go through multiple programmers, then a per-seat license will save you money. And I hope you don't go through that many programmers... Ugh.

For that matter, if you think you might go through programmers, you'll need your own license. Otherwise, the programmer won't legally be able to send you the engine changes when he or she leaves the project!

No. The indie license is per programmer, non transferable and definitely not shareable.
Or can I allow a programmer access to private forums and the code source under my name?
No. The SDK private forums regularly get posts containing Torque source code.
If a team member is working on scripting language, is this considered a programming seat, and requiring another license?
Scripting does not require a license. Even if the script runs on a modified version of torque.
If you want the license to be per seat you should consider the commercial license.
