How Many Registered Users are in the GG Community?

Hey everyone, I am doing some market research into how well our game in development could potentially sell. We wanted to know how big the GG community actual was so we can see how big the market was for indie games developed by Torque on GG really is.
How Many Registered Users are in the GG Community?
Also, How many active members are in the GG Community? Meaning visit GG at least once every 1-2 months.
How many units have some of the games on GG sold in the past and present? is this information available?
Thanks.

We'd like to know, too. We suspect only a few people are both active in our community and have completed Torque games. Things like Tennis Critters, and that recently announced MMORPG which essentially came from out of the blue, lead us to believe that there are a lot more people out there who have written Torque games than are letting on.
If you have a finished or nearly finished Torque game, don't hesitate to let Jay or any other of us GG employees know. We only know about these games if people tell us, and we'd absolutely love to see what people are getting done with the engine! (Also - if we don't know about it, we can't mention it in interviews or put up links to it.)
Kenny,
You can guesstimate the number of people on the site by checking the user id number of a recent member. :) Bear in mind most of the people registered on this site _aren't_ here to buy games; rather, they're here to make them.
As for the rest of that information... As you can see, our forums are quite active, with a broad userbase. Feel free to draw your own conclusions as to the forum traffic. A site like Alexa might be a useful tool for you in this sort of traffic estimation.
We don't give out sales information due to contractual obligations.
And, bear in mind that some of the games on GG are also up on places like Shockwave or Real, which have their own independent traffic streams. Depending on your game, you're going to end up reaching very different markets - our goal with the games we publish is to help the indie make as much money as possible off of it, which usually means non-exclusive deals so that they can get it up on other portals.
Your potential market is a lot bigger than GG.com, so I wouldn't expend a lot of effort mapping it.

Just chiming in to say that I think Ben's response has a high degree of awesomeness. Given that we can't give out hard numbers, I don't think we could offer any better answer.edit for typos
