TSE Demo? Please, please, pretty please?

by Chris · in Torque Game Engine · 04/30/2004 (9:37 am) · 41 replies

I was wondering if there is any chance of a TSE demo in the really near future? I'm pretty sure it was mentioned that TSE was within weeks of release (and that was a week or two ago), but in the meantime, even just a non interactive demo that shows off the technology would be nice to whet our appetites!

Would you rather them waste the limited time they have on a throw away video/demo or finishing it for full release?

I'm totally gonna waste my time on a throw away video. ;)

Hmmm...my sacrifice of the Ogre rendering engine to the GG gods seems to have appeased them. Yay!

The virtools just release a Dev 3.0 cool shader demo(www.virtools.com). I'm wondering if the TSE demo will beat off that?

Steven i dont get it.. how can you compare TSE which at most will be $295 to Virtools Dev 3 at $9,500?

"huh, huh he said "beat off"

Lol, my point exactly.

Hey, let's compare a Corvette against a Citroen!

Don't call Virtools Dev a Citroen! ;-)

LOL.. just kidding. I hope TSE is as great as we hear.

For those who response to my post, I really hope that the TSE will beat off the Virtools DEV 3.0 and have that chance!

After all, it's the shaders' problem and for TSE I believe it'll provide the powerful interface for power users to accomplish that goal.

"huh, huh he said it again "beat off"..
TOPIC CHANGED TO : All the tools TSE will beat off..

That would be quite a feat if it can beat off my tool.. :)
