Apologies if this has been posted already (I couldn't find it posted anywhere)
I'm not sure if anyone else has seen this, but Caligari is selling a Torque Pack bundle that includes:
gameSpace 1.5
Torque DTS Exporter 1.0 from Dark Industries
mapExporter from DigitalFlux
2 sets of video training courses
Price is $299, the current price for gameSpace 1.5, and it's gonna jump to $399 at the end of April.
Anyway, FYI.

This sounds like an interesting bundle, but it nevertheless is exactly cheap - but it might as well be worth the price. Being not a TrueSpace fan myself, it might be worth the effort if you get an all in one package.
Regards,
Dirk
[EDIT] I just found out that there is a discussion already going on in the tools section.

Is there anybody who owns this combination already out there, who shares experiences? This sounds like an interesting bundle, but it nevertheless is exactly cheap - but it might as well be worth the price. I bought Gamespace on Sunday. It is a great step up from Milkshape (has a milkshape version included for gamespace). Going through the docs currently. It is well documented and has some great tutorials. The main thing I am doing this weekend is learning how the layers work. The exporter that comes with it uses layers and if you never have used Gamespace or Truespace it can be confusing. Just read the docs. It does export dif's and if you want to export a dts real fast use Mark Owen's "Basic Truespace 6 / Gamespace 1 - DTS Exporter (TSX) exporter". But the exporter by Dark Industries that comes with it is very powerful...just takes some learning. Everything is working great and I have been exporting dts and dif files into torque with the three exporters. The customer support has been great and with quick responses to my questions.
This is a great bundle if you are on a budget and can't afford Maya or 3ds Max.

Layers aren't that hard, both the gameSpace docs and the DTS exporter docs explain how they work very well. :o)
Let me know if you need any help

@Matt: Your right it wasn't hard at all. Just had to read the docs in the gamespace manual to get familar with the controls. Read your docs after that and it exported easy. Thanks for the great support you and Ted and Caligari have given me. They guy that works with me said he has to go out and buy this Torque bundle now (if his wife lets him).

I'm staying tuned, and my thanks to those fearless test-pilots who have ventured their capitol to check this out for us all!

Very interested in this myself, before the 30 Apr deadline, for obvious reasons. But there is a thread up on the GG General Discussion forum about this software, saying it does not integrate very well with Torque. Down here people are saying the reverse. ;) Anyone know for certain how well this will operate with Torque?I'm staying tuned, and my thanks to those fearless test-pilots who have ventured their capitol to check this out for us all!

The only problem I had was with the dif exporter, but that is now fixed. He had sent an old version to Caligari by mistake.

@Kevin: that is about the Gamespace Level Exporter by Greenbriar Studio. They are not having to much luck with it. The exporters by Dark Industries and DigitalFlux that ship with the Torque bundle are working great. I never used Gamespace before until last week and I'm already making objects and buildings. They export without any problems into Torque. The only problem I had was with the dif exporter, but that is now fixed. He had sent an old version to Caligari by mistake.

I'm planing on buy the torque pack for use to model my levels, I'm working on a big city.
When you model the levels for export to dif how is it? is it like worldcraft editing or like 3dsmax model editing, and doas it split concave brushes in to legal ones?
And also is UV mapping suported by the dif objects in a simple way, I it posible to uv unwrap say a building?

Texturing is supported, and uv-unwrapping should "theoretically" work, but the .map format doesn't have uv's like a dts object does. Simple uv-unwrapping may be possible, but I actually haven't tried an unwrapped object yet, though the obvious worth of that is going to make me take a look at it today while I'm working on that code...
