I was thinking... Why not recreate that old game from the early 90's into something much better bigger... 3D... More Jobs
to look for... Better thing to spend money on... That way, the
project will attract females too...

With the idea of Black and white jumping to mind... Having a
Bad vs Good meter... So you could go bad, and become a robber,
or go legit, and work to become a successful business man...

Your goals being either 100% bad, or 100% good...
What ya think?

So many ideas... sooo little time...

As with anything, it will come down to the implementation. It could be good, but making an open ended game like that would require some good design, luck and content.

If you want to make it the game more realistic you could study sociology and try to implement a "real" world scenario. For example: good can be very subjective. Good in one society could mean Mother Theresa good. Another society good could mean going along with genocide. Be true to whatever your definitions end up being so that rewards and punishments are doled out correctly. Sometimes it can be hard. One example is a guy that is Mother Theresa good. If someone kills this guys kid, the guy may want to be bad and kill the murderer. However, in a Clint Eastwood world that would not necessarily be bad.
Get it, got it, good?

This sounds as if it is similar to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic with the good and bad meters
