Looking for programmers for a western game

We've been working on a game design for a game based on Billy the Kid's life since October and are now looking for talented and dedicated programmers who want to push the artform a bit. Here's a in-dev(textures and hair modeling unfinished) pic of Billy...

We want to use torque in a 3rd person perspective(with some 1st person sniper/focus mode). We also have a website with the game design and asset production organized, to help with remote collaboration. Gameplay features include herding, hunting, horse-riding, cattle and horse rustling, realistic gunplay and some more. The game is open-ended in nature, but there is a historically accurate story thread in it that the player can choose to play through. Our immediate goal is to implement 6 missions/chapters of the 100+ that we wrote from historical research, and use this first stage of the project to find a publisher and/or submit to the game festivals(IGF this fall). We have a small monthly budget, which helps things along.(We can definitely upgrade anyone who comes on the team to the torque shader engine and other tools we'll need and can afford) We are not trying to create a shoot 'em up. We are going for an existential adventure that leaves the player understanding what it was like trying to survive what Billy lived through. We aren't trying to make Billy out as a Saint or devil, but are trying to give the player the choice on how to live in Billy's shoes. The major gameplay theme is survival....for instance, the gun is as much a defensive weapon(the threat of violence is important in the AI design) as it is an offensive weapon. We have tried to tilt the design in a manner so that every action(motion and choice) that the player enacts can potentially have a consequence. For instance, if you kill the butcher's wife and show up in that town 5 years later, the butcher will try to kill you. If this interests you at all, please contact us at autonomous@2dclash.com or reply to this.
