Starting positions

It makes a big difference as to where you start in possibly all the maps, will there ever be a map where we all start evenly spaced around a circle or decagon, If there was a p'up bang in the center it'd be a right laugh as to who got it first. The fairest map as to kick off i reckon is Haunted Grove. Maybe i 'm wrong but on map 1 it is usually
the highest ranked player who starts nearest the p'up.

On map 1 boot camp, its not by rank. I was #1 and i started in the middle. My guess is that where you start is random not by rank

Toss of a coin......? nightmare, but i did say usually not always, maybe it's who's played the most games within a day, or just who just deserves it. I reckon there are certain rules which apply but we may never know them.

Starting pads are chosen randomly at the start of the match.

Oh i see i almost never get a good starting position though :-)
