Experienced student looking for internship

Hello.

As it says to the left, my name is Adam deGrandis. Im a junior at Maine College of Art.

I have 3 1/2 years of experience in the graphic design industry, both in web and print. I also have 1 1/2 years of non-professional experience in film production, ranging from live action to animation to technical aspects like blue screen usage and lighting techniques.

My main focus, though, is games. I have a passion for games and I want to know more. Being an artist, Im currently honing my skills across the board; modeling, texturing, and animating.

I can produce a portfolio that shows the range of all my work so far.

I live in the American north east, but would be open to traveling if the right opportunity arose. So if you are a developer and have the ability to take on an intern, id love to help out. Im not looking for money, only experience.

:) I guess thats it. Please contact me if you are even remotely interested in seeing my portfolio or discussing anything further. Thanks.

Have you considered applying for an internship at GarageGames? I know we're always interested in applicants.

I didnt know that was a possibility, but it definately sounds good. :)

Whats the process for that? Is there an email address I can send my portfolio/application to? Or should I send a cd or something like that to your mailing address? Many Thanks.

www.garagegames.com/main/company/contact.php - the jobs address is a good bet.

Best bet would be to either mail a portfolio CD or link to a portfolio website. I don't think that our mail server appreciates fifty meg attachments. ;)
