Compiler returns missing file: terrRender2.cc

by Antonio "Tony" Farinetti · in Technical Issues · 03/12/2004 (5:16 pm) · 9 replies

When I compile, while still getting nasm errors, I am getting this error, which I don't understand:

Torque Demo fatal error C1083: Cannot open source file: '\Game Development\Torque\torque\engine\terrain\terrRender2.cc': No such file or directory

I searched the entire torque director and that file exists no where, I was just curious if maybe the CVS didn't check it out to me?

Thanks for any help you may give!

"Removed extraneous terrain rendering code.
Updated VC6/GCC/VC7 project files. Mac and CW projects are broken until someone removes terrRender2.cc from them."

That's what the CVS-notes say :)

But but vc6 isn't fixed...unless I need to do a compleatly clean cvs checkout...

Edit:

For anyone having this same problem, remove the refrences to terrRender2.cc in both the torque demo and the torque lib projects.

fixed. :)

Bother. I thought I had updated the VC6 stuff to remove that. Or are you not running the most up to date project files?

I re-checked out the CVS this morning at like 1:00 am or whatever, but WinCVS may not have overwritten it.
