Why are you so quick to off the cuff dismiss it? It does in fact exist, though it isn't complete. When Kevin posted this, I did a CVS checkout on it and lo and behold I got some prelim files. Its no where near the whole engine, but it DOES exist.

Files are revision-tracked individually. Some files are at the revision number 1.6.4 due to the number of times they have been changed, the branch they are on, etc. This is not a real version number.Which is what Jarrod was trying to say in his inimitable way.

1.6.4 is a default value that WinCVS places on the tag list as an example.
