Cel Shading workaround involving Open GL vs. Direct X

Is it possible to revamp the Open GL rendering for Cel shading while leaving the Direct X rendering the same, in effect causing Open GL to be a cel shaded mode and Direct X to be a non cel shaded mode? Im hoping so, because that would provide for a way to please cel shading fans and haters alike.

(Of course, your art will probably look goofy if it was designed for cel and rendered without.)
