Cross Platform map Editor?

by Chris "DiGi" Timberlake · in General Discussion · 02/27/2004 (5:14 pm) · 4 replies

Alright, i got the source to a map editor (Tread 3D) and i noticed, and with talking to Ben Garney, we've concluded that the only thing stopping the editor would be the UI, since it uses OpenGL and such, then with some digging in the source i have found it uses an old version of Code-Jockey for Visual Studio 6.0 for the UI, and the company now uses different tools, so i haven't found any info reguarding it https://www.codejock.com ,so my question to all of you is have you ever came into contact with this, and if so, do you know hwo Cross-Platform it is

Well I never have heard of Tread 3D and you provided me nothing to look at so I didn't respond even though I am interested in something better than QuArk.

My feature requests are:
1 - It work with Torque
2 - I can use it for my comercial game without having to pay anything or breaking its EULA.
3 - It have all the features of QuArk.

Does it do that? If not let me know when it does and where I can look at it for more ideas.
