Whats wrong with creating a shape like a door by an animation that displays the door rotating in its pivot, then place the door in a building's entry and set a trigger around the door, when player enter the trigger the door animation be played so the door will be opened... binding an action key is a better idea that player hit in the trigger and open the door, is seems too simple, doesnt it?.

Simple and creative, this is a route I played around with creating vehicles that functions as elevators. And player bots that stood as stand-in for doors. Using pretty much what torque can do now and thinking of inventive ways of doing other stuff with it.

Yes, indeed, Robert Brower did it...

I have extended it so that the "door blocker" is placed and scaled automatically, so its almost "plug and play" from the mission editor now... I can post a resource if ya want...

It opens the door but not closed at all, also i can not pick the key so i had to change key="" in my .mis file to open it.
