Graphics Bugs

I just recently was intrested in the Torque engine, and have decided i will probably be purchasing it soon in the future.
However...
A problem i appear to be having is with a new graphics card i bought specifically because i needed more power to run the engine.
The Card is a:
Asylum GeForce FX 5200
256mb AGP
All my drivers are "up-to-date"
The card works well with all my other 3d applications, but when i run the Torque demo it breaks the terrains down into flashing triangular polygons, and none of the colors work right.
I was just wondering if Torque had any conflicts with this graphics card, or if there is anything special i can do to get it to work, ive called the nVidia tech support three times since installing it, but nothing has worked so far.
I also checked for quite a few minutes before deciding where to post this at.

I have a GeForce2 GTS 32MB DDR in one PC and a GeForceFX 5900 in the other and both of them render perfectly. I havent seen any other complaints about card issues.
A search of the forums reveals no issues past Sep 26, 2003 and that was for a GeForce2 MX.
What OS are you using? Is this a Homebuilt PC, or a name brand like DELL, Gateway, or Compaq? Are your settings at standard, or tweaked out. Does resolution change affect this issue or does it remain constant? I have doubts that this is an engine issue, but anything is possible. If nothing else, try to DL the demo one more time to make sure there was no corruption of the files during download.

There were quite a few issues that were dealt with involving 5200's with the 53.03 drivers, but there are still a few left, and there could be more that are not known. The issue would be with the drivers and not with the Engine.I have a GeForce2 GTS 32MB DDR in one PC and a GeForceFX 5900 in the other and both of them render perfectly. Windows XP Professional
255mb RAM
1.1ghz Duron
Its all homebuilt, and i havent tweaked any settings, in the event its an issue with one of my parts, i dont want to void the warranty in any way untill i get the problem resolved.
Ive redownloaded the engine a few times, and sometimes it loads and draws vertical lines through placement of pictures and text is pretty fuzzy, as if it had been taken over by a smear brush from a paint progream. Lately however it will just not load at all, and i get stuck at a grey screen untill i cancel the process from the taskmanager.
The drivers i use are the old ones that came with the Asylum CD (now), i tried to update my drivers again to see if that was the problem, but the update never completely finished and it dosent seem to want to now.
The biggest problem that veers me away from thinking it is an engine issue is the fact that other 3d applications i run have a similar problem, however some 3d games i run do not. I can't understand though where the problems are coming in on just these certain things and not with everything.

Have you tried the latest beta nvidia drivers like I suggested?

The 45.xx drivers were good with Torque I believe. Also - MAKE SURE YOU UNINSTALL YOUR CURRENT DRIVERS before you install new ones. Can't stress that enough, it can mess up your machine.

James, you might want to try installing older nVIDIA drivers from their archive:www.nvidia.com/object/winxp-2k_archive.html

Try getting hold of the betas of the the new 56.x drivers. I notice 50-75% increase in performance. Not necessarily saying this will fix your problems as I dont suffer from these problems myself. However there has been a lot of chat about problems regarding nvidia drivers around the early 50's versions and torque.
Maybe try doing a forum search for problems similar to yours?
