Best Open Source Video Editor

Hi,

Sorry, if the topic doesn't fit here. I would like to find out what is the best open source video editor that is currently available.

Hey James,

Here are a few open source editors that you can try out, they are/seem pretty good. I have tried VirtualDubMod and it comes with plenty of filters to play around with and you can splice video together.

Another one you might want to look at is Cinepaint.

A third one that might be of interest to you is Bink, it isn't opensource but as far as I know they have a free version available. Hope that gives you some place to start looking if you haven't already found them. ;) I'll be interest to see what other editors people know about, I have been looking around for them too. ;)

Cinepaint is great if you use gimp and vitualdubmod is great for basic tasks.
