CVS issue: can't log in!

I recently decided to switch from 1_2 to HEAD. I went back to the "using CVS" page, and verified all my settings (I'm also using CVS for another project).
I tried my user/pass combo (the one that works just fine to log into the GG site, I've tested it several times) and it didn't work. I've even changed my password, and tried that new one. No luck.
So it's the right server, it just doesn't love me any more. Wah!
Am I missing out on something, or is my login actually broken?
