Rebuilt demo app?

Here's a tricky (maybe) question..
Can someone who has HEAD rebuild the demo app for me with a new vehicle class?
// I do mean legally..
I.E. Make a object class for a scripted datablock.
// Preferably one of the devs as this might be a good addition to the standard vehicle classes.
Here's the idea.
Specifics:
Type: Wheeled vehicle.
Hubs: 16.
Springs: 16.
Aero sufaces: Yes.
Thrusters: Yes.
DustEmitters: Yes.
In Flight Movie: Godzilla VS. Bambi.
Basically take the WheeledVehicle section of HEAD, dupe it under the new name, turn the max # of springs and hubs up from
8 to 16 and add the thruster (W,A,S,D,Forward,Lift/Jump) and aerodynamics sections from the Shrike style flyer.
This will allow for enough tuning to simulate a decent skirt, a skirt blowout, rudders, or treads on tank and I think
with some scripting/modeling helicoptors. After all a helicoptor takes off, lands and low-level hovers as a GEV.
// Actually a helicoptor is a prostitute.. It has no visible means of support..
This could also end some of the hassles/confusion with the standard hover datablocks.
// It's a FlyingVehicle tuned to "HOVER".. A "Hollywood" HOVERcraft is a Ground Effect Vehicle.
// The easiest way to have Ground Effect is to have Ground Contact.

Think about it. If Lloyd was using Unreal to make his mod, he would have to talk to Epic about getting this done. Good luck. If he can't find a willing Torque programmer, then he can shell out the $100 and find a way to do it himself.
Anyway. We have not been able to convince too many modders about this, but eventually I think the word will spread.

This is totally legal if you can find somebody that wants to do it. However, the thing that is most interesting about this post is that it illustrates WHY the Torque is so much better for game developers than making a mod.Think about it. // And it's too cold outside for me to want to play with large pieces of steel. BRRRR! :(
I am planning on turning the proof of concept models and datablocks over to the community to increase the knowledge base and speed up
future development. If someone wants to hack the C, I'll hack the script, physics and basic model templates to add to the # of
available vehicle types in HEAD/CVS.
I.E. with the current Demo version I now have working models with 1/2/3/4/6 & 8 wheels.
// Orcs on Unicycles? How about little red tricycles?
4/6/8 wheeled vehicles have a Milkshape tutorial and I'm working on another one for 1/2/3 wheels.
// Plus, The more pre-fab blocks there are, the more likely it is for a "n00b" to buy it for his pet game project.. :)
// Hehehe.. LabRat is working on his 13'th?, 14'th? (114'th with the list of vehicle variables?) halo,
// Why should he get to have all the fun.. :)
Now a joke for the engineers in the community..
What has 4 wheels and flies?
Anything if you bolt 4 wheels and enough RATO* racks to it. :)
*Rocket Assisted Take-Off
P.S.
And some companies are even worse..
This actually started as vehicles for Tribes 2, but Sierra still has their heads up and locked..
I.E. The map editing tutorial on their website has been incomplete for over 2.5 years.
// It's the same exact page that was there when I bought the game in week-1..
// I've given up on getting a response from Sierra about anything Tribes 2 related be it scripting/mapping or modding..

ROFL! I'm not even making a mod right now, I'm just hacking vehicles in Torque right now because I'm too broke to do it with real parts. :)// And it's too cold outside for me to want to play with large pieces of steel. BRRRR! :(

Interesting. We always called it JATO in the Air Force :) Jet Assisted Take Off. RATO just sounds darned odd lol.

// I got interested in computers because one of my fathers friends stood me in front of one of the main computer memory display boards
// at Johnson Space Center in Houston when I was ~5-1/2 and "It warped my fragile little mind"... Well that and the ASCII art that the

I'm not even sure Sierra still has anyone working there that even touched Tribes 2 other then as a Marketing or QA position.... And hey... they're bringing you Tribes... the Unreal MOD, why would they worry about old stuff

You lucky Americans and your toys! All we got up here in Canada is GATO - Goose Assisted Take Off and it causes an engineering nightmare because the stupid anti-cloning laws prevent you from producing geese of uniform size and strength.

Sierra, Destroyers of more games than a Luddite Revival at CES in Las Vegas.
Sierra corp-rat is hearby invited to go perform aeronautical aerobatic intercourse on a rotating perforated pastry.
// Translation: They can go take a flying f**k at a rolling donut.
I'd tell the Sierra executives "Go F**k Yourself.", but I'd have to supply condoms to keep them from breeding more of the same.
// Can you tell I have a low opinion of Corp-Rats?
// I like lab rats though.. Lab Rats: Conclusive Proof That Lab Researchers Cause Cancer. :)
Hehehe... I just had a thought.. You, Emo1313, TerrorX and a few others all sitting around busily updating the Tribes 2 scripts to run
on the latest Torque Demo. That would take care of the next "patch" for Win32 and Linux (Maybe even Mac?)
// And Sierra might have to buy a corporate license... ROFL!
The hybrid vehicle class I'm wanting to experiment with might be a decent copy of the BeoWulf or Wildcat with the right tuning. :)

Trent: And you get the stupid ones that try to nest in the intakes after takeoff.

You should buy the SDK and do it yourself... unless you get lucky and find someone who is willing to all this work for you. ;)
