Can we get a thread for newbies like me?
like how to start little newbie tricks of the trade.
i will be getting the engine next month. a early birthday present to my self!
and i would like to help starting a new game for my self and some friends of mine.
I know buttocks about making game but have been looking into it for over a year now.
will need a genital hand to help me get started. "I'm a bit of a hot head"
any way in advance THX

for the new meat! what is the appropriate forum for us newbies that know Nada about game making?
It is a rather donting task to making a game. Some of us need some one to hold are hands throe the start up proses!

Well once you have the engine you will be able to access the Private SDK forums. Look through the different forums and find one that will suit your question. If you have a basic question on how to get started post it in the getting started forum. :) This is one of the best communities around and you will find plenty of helpful people willing to answer your questions and extend a helping hand. Just don't expect them to hold other things. :) Sorry I just couldn't resist.

@Randall Hello again - we meet in the oddest places :) I'd like to meet you in person one day and you can tell me how to actually sell my stuff....

okay, well, um welcome. Noob threads aren't really necessary, as there are all kinds of information already available. Plus there is Chat (irc), and other questions can be asked in the appropriate forum.
