I think I will work on porting the shader code over to an Generic path over the holidays.
Also it uses Lua for configuration!

Unfortunately I have gotten sick . . . and probably won't get anything productive done on getting this to work on anything other than nVida until after christmas :(

One thing to fix in Ranger is it only does LOD on Z/X no matter how "high" you go and look straight down there is a circle of super high detail. This could be fixed to adjust for Y so that high flying cameras or point of views would render lower detail directly below.Unfortunately I have gotten sick . . . and probably won't get anything productive done on getting this to work on anything other than nVida until after christmas :(

That looks like some pretty cool tech. I'd be curious to see how it would perform in Torque as a terrain object.
