Ranger

I think I will work on porting the shader code over to an Generic path over the holidays.

Also it uses Lua for configuration!

Very cool piece of technology. It looks good even in the extreme overhead view.

One thing to fix in Ranger is it only does LOD on Z/X no matter how "high" you go and look straight down there is a circle of super high detail. This could be fixed to adjust for Y so that high flying cameras or point of views would render lower detail directly below.

Unfortunately I have gotten sick . . . and probably won't get anything productive done on getting this to work on anything other than nVida until after christmas :(

That looks like some pretty cool tech. I'd be curious to see how it would perform in Torque as a terrain object.
