I am running the demo in VC++.NET, 640x480, Fullscreen, 2.4Ghz processor, ATI Radeon 64MB, 512MB Ram. and get an average of about 15 fps when running around outside. Is this pretty standard or do I need to do something to get the fps up. 15 fps is pretty low as far as games go. Thanks.

My Laptop is outfitted with the same/similar IGP chip, and gets roughly the same FPS outdoors, its just too much for these cards to handle I believe.:D

Buy a copy of Tribes 2 for $10 in the bargain bin at BestBuy or free in this issue of Computer Gaming Monthly. I have YET to find a better method to test frame rate changes in Torque. It helps solve a LOT of problems.
Is it my models? Load up the Tribes 2 models and see if it performs the same. Load YOUR models into Tribes 2 for the reverse test.
Is it my terrain? Same thing.
Is it my system? If you get Tribes 2 running @ 100 FPS you can expect SIMILAR performance from the Torque engine.
And of course.... make sure you are using OpenGL and not D3D. :)
