First off, how did you manage to put crack in this game? I cant stop playing, lol.
A couple things to tell/ask you:
(1)Dont bother with trial key you were going to send me. I reformatted my HD, so I was able to play an hour of Orbz, and needless to say, I bought it immediately.
(2)If there is a planned update for orbz, have/would you consider this: An optional observer mode with the ability to cycle through the players pov.

The observer mode you mentioned will be in the next version.
You are correct, if a player drops they are not penalized. We don't feel that a rank penalization will work for players that drop because the drop could be cause by a network problem or something out of the players control.
We are talking about tracking "drop" stats so that others can see if you are a "dropper" (and the credibility to go with it).
Keep in mind that the players who complete a match may climb in rank and hence close the gap on higher ranked players. So there is some penalty to droppers in that they are standing still in rank while others are moving towards them.

I just got finished playing online for a couple of hours. I noticed that a high ranking player (#1 to be exact), dropped out of the game before it was done (he was last place).
Now, according to the rules of the ranking system, he is not 'punished' for this act, correct?
In the future update, will players that leave early lose ladder points or something? Doesnt seem right to be able to just drop the game to save face.
