I need some models

I need some models. I would like them to be free. Is there any sites/model resource that can be pointed out?

I looked at the resource area here, but either it leads me to dead links or I have to pay.

I just want some models to work with in the engine. I would really like a tank model, but really I am interested in the engine itself, so any generic model site would be a great help.

That depends, do you need the models to be rigged for torque? if so try www.gamebeavers.org otherwise just do a google search for free models, I'm sure some will turn up.

dont think a tank will do you much good, theres no tank vehicle class in the engine (bravetree wrote their own for thinktanks) so unless you just wanted a static environment model then your out of luck. I'm afraid pickings are rather slim unless you can export the models to .dts yourself

I was finding models that were just not designed to work with Torque at all.

Tank wont do me much good? I might be niave here, but there are vehicles in torque. I thought it would be mater of using that sort of actions with a tank model. Add in a weapon which FPS shooters have and that would be about it.

You make it sound like I would have to dig pretty deep to get it to work. I might have to scale back on my idea of what would work. I hate to create yet another first person Realm Wars Mod.

Edit - www.gamebeavers.org requires me to add 3 assets before joining. I don't have 3 assets. Oh well.
