Matrix ASCII Style

Like the Matrix? Want to see it in ASCII? This is actually a short scene from the first Matrix movie done in ASCII, you can see everything from Neo's face to the bullets in the bullet time scene. The HTML file itself is a little large, 4.5MB so be patient when viewing it. I hope everybody that likes the Matrix will enjoy this little tribute.

ASCII Matrix

[EDIT]
Just wanted to note that a friend gave me this file. Thanks Pascal :)

Looks good :)
It's better if you hit fullscreen mode and sit back from the screen :)
Should use colored chars and it would be even better ;)

Hey, glad that you guys liked it. :) Yeah, it is better in fullscreen mode when you sit back from the screen. :) I was thinking that it would look even better with a black background and green text as in the movies or on my Matrix screen saver for Red Hat Linux. :)

@Matt: your screen saver is for XScreenSaver or Linux, not a RedHat's thing at all.
But yes, that would look nice too.

@Xavier: Thanks for clearing that up for me. :) My experience with Linux could mainly be considered a hobby. I have a Linux Red Hat box running, and I have played with SuSE a little bit in the past. My main reason for staying with Windows is due to the wider selection of applications. I have to use allot of graphics applications and I just don't see them there for Linux. :) But I enjoy working with both OS though. ;)

Now I know someone did this for Quake, but a full game in Ascii text could be quite an interesting prospect...

The latest ATI Radeon Catalyst drivers actually allow for certain built-in shaders to be applied to any game.

It was really odd seeing our Trajectory Zone in ASCII! Unfortunately, it was also virtually unplayable. The models and terrain could be seen, but only if you looked at it hard.
