Skinning

Hi im having problems when importing a skinned object in to Torque after using 3D Studio Max 5.1

ive run thru the tutorial and this is what i come up with every time (below)

i dont understand what the problem is.

in 3D Studio max i skin it using the material editor only using standard or multi/sub object.

i also made sure to put the image in the same folder as the model after it had been exported.

Are there any errors mentioned in the console dialoge? Is your texture a power of 2? It is a JPG or PNG file? Is there anything in the Dump.DMP file when you export that might say where a problem lies?
