Max2map for max5 bug

Hello.

I downloaded all torqe sdk. Put the maxsdk5 to the lib dir. Compiled all libs and max2map. ok.

well, i put .dle to plugins thir of my 3dmax.. open max. ok.

when i try to export a .max file (with all the settings it needs), max give me a error, and the map doesnt create.

anyone with the same problem?

i did a forum search with max2map, and i try all the max2map variants, compiling and .dle files, with my own max files, and the example max files.

Im have a vc6 with sp5, max5, and dx9sdk.

all exporters works ok, only max2map dont work.

help!!! :-P

try that link there are some file atributes that you need to set up but that site will walk you through what you need to do.

Well i tried that tutorial before, and 3dsmax give me the same error.

I opened today the .map file that max2map generate (in theory with bugs..), copy all brush dat, and then paste it to a test.map generated in quark. I opened the 'new' .map file on quark and.. tada! now it work O_o

sounds a little crazy, but works!

i think that quark doesnt work well with the return char that the exporter put on the file.

well i hope this 'solution' works for the rest of the people with the same problem.

now i only need to change that to get working the exporter ^__^

Hmmm, I haven't looked at that in a while--I'll check it out--thx for the heads up.
