Stupid question regarding test app

Ok, as many of you may know, I'm building a simple terrain app for scientific/educational use.
As it turns out, replcaing some graphics and some models will get me pretty close to where I need to be to show this to folks, and testing the maps for accuracy is where the bulk of my effort is gonna go.
So, I have built my first run of the v12 test app. Changed some names, changed some graphics, changed some scripts. Now I want some testers to help me look at the maps (or, rather, soon I will want that).
What can I hand out to these folks? If I zip up my built example directory and toss it on my dev page, is that kosher? I'll also need to probably talk to GG further down the road about final distribution. It's not a game, and it's not for profit, so, need to verify where I fall in the licensing scheme. But, I can worry about that after the paper is accepted :)
On a related note, I see alot of the vehicle code workarounds involve importing T2 scripts. Now I know I can't distribute T2 models or art, but it I use the shrike code to get a vehicle flying, can I distribute the script?
This is probably more a licensing question, but, here goes :)
