Hi I just made some new marbles.
To change the marble put the .png file in
marble/data/shapes/balls
If you need help just post a reply.
I think the new marbles are pretty good.

I did make about 8 more balls.
It's a series called creme savers.
I will e-mail them to Alex.

How do you make marble textures??? I tried making the pillbug, and I saved it as "base.marble.png" and everything, but the marble was white! How do you do it?

are you sure you are saving to PNG format? having a different format with .png extension won't cut it.
the texture has to be a power of 2 size, on each edge - eg. 64 x 64, 128 x 128, 256 x 256... etc.
Try opening the console ( ~ key ) and looking for any texture loading errors after you've entered the level. It might be kind enough to tell you exactly why it can't load the texture.

That explanes my skinless balls... guess it's the .somethinggelsethanpng which is the bad guy here...

I cant get any of the marbles to work i downloade all of them only 2 of them worked why?

For some Resin i can not find the shapes folder. I can only get to data can some one please help!

Yes but when i get into the data folder only missins,interiors,init.cs.dso,pushbuttons.dts and thumbs.db. oh and i am on a "mac os x version 10.4.5".

Perhaps do a search for the 'shapes' folder?

I am using Windows XP, so I have no idea where it is.Perhaps do a search for the 'shapes' folder?

I have the same version as you Luca, but I do have a shapes folder in the data folder. And...you must have one too or else you would have things like bumpers, fans, landmines and of course the marble itself.(edit)Note: You can't search package contents with Spotlight.
