New Gui Editor!

by Xavier "eXoDuS" Amado · in Torque Game Engine · 09/30/2003 (6:23 am) · 7 replies

Great work on the new Gui Editor Mark.
In case no one noticed it yet, there's an improved gui editor in the cvs now. It supports multiple resolutions and looks overall more tidy and better integrated with the look of the world editor.

I like the feature that the Toggle option in the menubar prints "Blah" to the console, definetly very useful ;)

Cheers.

Hah!

I haven't quite finished with it yet, but I thought I'd check it in when it got to a usable state. I'll have another rev today that should fix a bunch more stuff.

So far, it rocks - massive improvement to my least favorite part of Torque's toolset :-) (I think I bitched about that at the last IGC - bein' an interface designer for part of my day job makes me just a little critical of the tools I use for the job ;-)

Some things that would be nice.

*When you change the aligment and hit apply the object should be moved instead of having to quit and open the editor again.
*It would be nice to have Save and Save as options.
*Undo? :)
*Damn i had another one but I can't remember it now.
