Did anyone else get the following email ?

What is Vector Graphics , you will ask?
Vector Graphics is a game development house.We do all the job from design , creation , programming , artwork and publishing for our works.
We are working now at our first big project , the project 3a , an old great style TBS/RPG , and we feel the need of aditional team members in this domains : programmer for GUI interface and engine.We have created the great part of the sprites and artwork , also the AI and the story are set up , but we need additional programmers to implement the graphics and AI in a cohesive stand alone engine , named Aurora.

I usually just update my list of people I won't hire, and companies I won't do business with, and go back to work :-)

Every month, I get no less than a dozen people's application, two dozen companies offering thier game development services or products, and usually at least one "Hey, we're having a conference" invitation to attent (for lots of money ;-) or offer to speak. I don't think I've seen any solicitations for me to assist on thier project though - that's a new one.I usually just update my list of people I won't hire, and companies I won't do business with, and go back to work :-)

I do get the occasional collaboration offer (though I didn't get this specific one), but I really don't consider those spam. Emailing people off of the developer profiles is a fairly reasonable way to be pro-active about finding project members as far as I'm concerned. It's easy to decline politely when a project isn't a good fit for whatever reason.

I get almost nothing through my GG profile address. I got that one, too. I may have also gotten some snail junk mail from someone who pilfered my addy off here, though it may have been from elsewhere.I wonder if anyone actually bought it?
