how to get torque x?

Will i still be able to purchase torque x? I was thinking about purchasing it but it says temporarily unavailable. Anyone know how to buy it?

P.S. is GMK add-on for it any good?

We are currently evaluating further sale of the product. I do not believe GMK supports TX.

Yes i want to buy it because i was thinking about using it for indie development because its the cheapest alternative for xbox 360.

That's why i was asking i have some money available. But if your new 3D torque has support for indie xbox 360 development that would make a good replacement for torque x. I would think having the torque x engine in their but have the graphical interface the same as before that way professionals can use the direct code and indies can still make games.

That would be my best bet at selling copies fast because i see a lot more professional games that sell a lot use havok,unreal, or other engines but do the above would definitely help to put torque x in a rest bed if the engine is still in their but for professional development the professionals can just choose between that and the full xbox dev kit.


Okay can you please confirm when you will have the torque x engine back? For 100 dollars i would buy it right now. I dont know of a indie developer who would spend much more then that since its not supported.

GMK says it supports: Torque Game engine advanced and Torque Game engine also in addition to Torque 3D.

The only product that we had that targeted XBLIG was TorqueX. As you noted, GMK does not support it at all.

Torque 3D is for creating Windows games. Torque 360 is for developers with an official devkit.

Can i still buy torque x though soon? I wish to buy torque x and not return it since the torque x cev team has gotten xna 4.0 to work with it. I wish to not just make a "pc" game with torque 3D/2D anyways and thats why i dont want torque x to disappear.
