On the given page it says: "Visit the makers of V12" with a link to GarageGames.
I'll give GarageGames full credit for all they have done but somehow I have never seen them as "the makers" of the engine...

I tried to create an account on this site today and no matter what email address I entered it told me it was already in use.

There is a bug in the GG signup code, I've looked at it but didn't see anything obvious... anyway, the email error message is wrong, it also displays that message if your login name is in already use, which is probably what's hapenning. Pick a new login name and you should be fine.

I apologize, someone tried to create a account with no user name and no email address. The problem is now fixed.

If you ever have problems with the site (V12 Mod), please email me at longwlkr@maxgaming.net. This applies anytime except this weekend. We are moving the email and IRC server this weekend, so you may not be able to reach either.

This weekend you may reach me at btarchive@mgonetwork.com

A huge bug on that whole website is a scripting error on every single page.. i donno you may want to fix that, because every single page has a scripting error.. It pops up scripting errors all over the place.

It also posts the following lie:

"Your browser does not support script, therefore you can not see and use the menu. Please use a browser which supports script. "

That is a complete lie. Unless you guys are trying to say that you need a (outdated) Netscape browser to browser your site, but then that's tremendously limiting your userbase.. not a good call..

I am going to guess that your are using a linux version of netscape.

This site has been tested using IE and netscape for windows. The site is fully compatible with these browsers on this platform.

I can not test for Mac, as I do not own a Mac.

Every web site owner and designer has to draw the line somewhere with compatiblity. Considering how few people have access to this site only via a linux box with netscape, I feel that the 1-2% I am losing is a good call.

P.S. It is not a lie, it uses standard HTML to determine if you do not have a browser that supports javascript or you have it turned off. You may want to check your settings.

Yep, I've never managed to get in there with ANY randomly chosen username, so I guess this website is simply *dead* since months...
