Debris.dts and explosion.dts

Hiya all,
I know there are many threads on debris and explosion, but I felt a need to start a new one coz they all seem a bit old.
I have been trying to get my debris.dts and explosion.dts to work for some time now, but I have had no luck. :( Debrisdata works for the rifle, so I cant figure out why it not works for mine.
Do the dts files need to have something specific? What do I need to have in debris.dts and explosion.dts? Can I simply have parts of my original.dts in both ? And on the same note, how does player_debris work? Do I have body parts strewed on ground as .dts?
I am really stuck on this for a while, any help, suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have tried Stefans barrel explosion, it is awesome !! I am aiming for something like that for a crate.
