Time to polish the web plugin

Okay GG with the recent announcement of UDK playing through Flash

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ywh9KJ7a_Bk

and Hero, BigWorld, Unity, and quite a few others having a out of the box ready to go web plugin I think it is time you catch up. Everything is going to the web and yes you are witnessing the death of the client, not right now but very soon. I think we have all(or 95% of us) have confirmed your web deployement is not actually a web deployment option but a run in a offline browser with online option after a ton of undocumented coding changes.

Now I have not looked into this option in a long time so if there has been changes to this then disregard my email but currently I see no tutorials or good documentation around it. Take a break from the I-frenzy a moment and improve the web deployment please.

The run in web in your demo for the engine, also, does not work.

Not a very good demo.

[quote]Web Publishing – Deploy any Torque 3D project to the web in minutes with our web
publishing option. Torque 3D supports all major browsers and your title performs as a
native application.[\quote]

Did we not already have a long conversation about this???

Prove to me that I can deploy any project I have to the web in minutes!!!!

Are you saying the streaming is working out of the box now? Did I miss something? That would make my day.

Or are you saying I would have to upload my project to the server and then the player would have to download the entire package before playing?

If it is the latter then that is a joke and false advertising to say the least.

There's already thread about this here, no need for another. Thread closed.
