Hello
My name is hermann kayode and i try to make a first plateformer game
I want to know if i can my concept with torque
The game is a classical plateformer with a heroine that player control
The concept is not kill ennemies or such (there will be just obstacles , moving obstacles)
the concept is too light plateforms of the scene in order to win
So the rule to trigger the next level is very different but the game is very simple .
The plateforms will have two design, one dark and one light,i'll draw everything of course.
the problem is thati have no idea how to do that or if it's possible.
Best regards.

The art style and game play would be key. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

So every area you touch lights up the level a la Billie Jean Music Video. You should be able to interchange the two designs easily. You just have to add some effects to make it really pop.The art style and game play would be key. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Like Joseph said, if you don't have previous experience in making games, I would try this project in Torque2D. It's the easiest to get started with.
Good luck. :)

Sounds like a reasonable design.Like Joseph said, if you don't have previous experience in making games, I would try this project in Torque2D. It's the easiest to get started with.

buy a copy of Torque2D, follow the tutorials and over time you should be able to build your game.
