Gameplay (not cut scene) path camera available?

Hey Guys,
With T3D 1.1 Final released I'm looking to finalize my tools/kits for my side scroller and I'm looking at picking up GMK and Guide Bot. I had a general question regarding the camera system in GMK. Is there a way to easily enough have a path camera that'll follow a target during player controlled gameplay that I could control (to stretch the path in/out/sideways to simulate zooming/moving)? I know 3d action adventure kit allows this, but I don't want to mix too many kits and many of the 3daak features I don't require.
