Okay so I've stumbled onto this site and I like the idea of helping out on this realm wars game, but I'm getting confused/frustrated navigating this site and trying to find out where I submit a 3d image/3ds file, I take it the forum is just to show other ppl your ideas(perhaps post work in progress) and get help/oppinions.
But where to send a finished item?!?
Also I've created a soldier model which seems like it would suit realmwars but I can't find any hints as to what sort of polycount is wanted for playermodels (I ask cause I tend to have polycounts that are a bit too high :) )
Have a look at (www.blokland.co.uk) :

I'm not to worried about the poly count as the hands a 500 poly each so I'll just loose those and make so new ones (origanly i was going to mesh smooth this model and use it in an anim. so i needed the detail)
not sure what you mean with your secound point, but the model is a Work In Progress, so i'll be cleaning it up as i go along. no worries.

The model isnt bad but there are a few problems with it that I can see.
1) Too many polygons, you need to cut it down to about 2400. Most of this can be removed from the face of the model and by removing the sheild and sword since they are not needed.
2) Polygonal Smoothing needs to be sorted out and corrected. You can see a lot of the edges on the model, especially in the face.
