We are a production company based out of Orlando, Florida looking to meet some local talent who is experienced with Torque. We have a couple of projects that we are working on for the iPhone and iPad and would like to work with someone locally on a per contract basis. We have been working with a great programmer overseas, but now find ourselves in a position where we need to work with someone local. The ideal candidate will:

- be able to work as part of a team
- take direction from the project manager/lead designer and bring their vision to life
- handle notes/changes/constructive criticism well
- accomplish tasks in a timely manner
- be able to contribute creatively and be willing to make suggestions for improvement
- take existing code for the project and take it to completion
- maintain open lines of communication during production

The projects in question are an interactive iPad children's book and an iPhone/iPad scrolling flying game. The candidate will be required to use the code from the previous programmer and take it to completion for deployment. The fee is negotiable and will depend on candidates experience and what the remaining program needs are. Please feel free to ask any questions and we look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for your interest.

It's too bad you are only hiring locally. I've had a lot of great experiences working with teams remotely. (and I'm in the same time zone as you)

If you change your mind or can't find anyone locally to work with, let me know.

Yeah, we are trying to keep it local. We work with a lot of people remotely and are comfortable with it, but are trying to get someone local for these immediate projects. But we may be open to discuss possibilities further in the event no suitable candidates reply. Thanks or posting.
