Help! I cannot find the "Renumber Selection" button

I am currently reading this chapter:

but I cannot find the " Renumber Selection" button, and "Embed Shape" button.my 3dsmax's version is 5.0.

You also couldn't seem to find the Search at the top of the pages here. A quick forums-search for renumber could have taken you to this thread where your answer lies. (I hope that this is the same for 3dsmax5)
