The contents of your message could be construde as defamatory slander and libal which places you on the defending side of a court room if the accused person decides that sharing of information between you and himself is damaging to his reputation and results in loss of income because now it is shared in print, is could be more then slander.

While I personally understand your desire to convey a cautionary message, it could be an isolated incident and until it is proven in a court of law, your accusations could be damaging.

3 weeks of work to complete milestone 1, then 2 weeks for them to send out a check (that's standard), then 2 weeks for it to get to you, then 2 weeks for it to clear, by then you know it's bounced.

That's 9 weeks of work that you assumed you were getting paid for.

this happened to me once for an employer at the end of the project (payments were great until then) and I got screwed out of $6,000... I made a lot less then. lol. At today's rates I would have lost about the same as Jeff.

#4 @eb I really needed the work at the time and frankly was much too careless placing faith in my fellow man.

I'll be asking that this thread gets deleted. Not because I fear legal action as I have everything in writing (228 emails and numerous recorded Skype text chat rants along with his attempts to defame me for simply wanting paid for work delivered to spec) and the testimony of two other contract co-workers (cc'd on it all as well as several of his staff) who can backup everything I stated. The reason I will ask it is deleted is I informed Alex that the code is no longer for sale and any use of it by him or Intergam in any manner (past or present) is a violation of copyrighted code and my intellectual property. So he doesn't owe me anything now. I frankly would have moral quams about taking payment at any point as it would be the result of someone else not getting paid. I will wait out the 4 month remainder of the NDA and market the work myself. Just wanted to forewarn others.
