IGDC 2003 - Questions / FAQ ???

Hello everyone,
I will be attending the IGDC 2003 and I have several questions pertaining to the the conference that would be useful for the IGDC 2003 website FAQ:
1) Computers - Will we have to bring our own or will be supplied with computers and if so what are the rules of setting up our computers?
2) Meals - Do we know what meals are going to be served and if so, what if someone has dietary issues & concerns?
3) Sponsors - Will there be several other sponsors participating in this years conference? For example, will we get GeForce and other big company's to attend?
4) Rules - Is there any rules that are established that have not been posted on the IGDC website? For example, cell phones should be off during workshops.
5) Will there be commercial booths this year or will it be like last year?
6) And anything else that is important and should be known about the IGDC?
Sincerely,
Sam Wiley

Rules you what rules???
1) Computers - The ShowOFF center is equipped with as many machines as we can pack in and power up. We've got commitments from nVIDIA to bring us 25 machines and Apple is working on a bushel of G5's (not sure we'll get dual processor machines) and we have some additional game machines with Linux builds we're working on. For the LAN party we encourage those able to bring machines and monitors with them - please bring your own powerstrips, we'll have ethernet and wi-fi (still nailing down all the specs). When you register you're asked to tell us what you're bringing.
2) Meals - Ask anyone who attended last year about the food. Best spread I've ever enjoyed at a conference (last count I'd attended well over a 100). We'll have food before we party at the Wild Duck Music Hall on Friday night, light breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner on Saturday, breakfast lunch and afternoon snack on Sunday. Dietary issues - well last year our vegetarian dishes we're very popular and we do our best to facilitate those with allergies and other dietary considerations, but again you need to fill out the survey when you're registering.
Oh and with the Wild Duck Brewery and Catering we'll be giving out 2 beer tickets a night... And for those under 21 (legal drinking age for Oregon and IGC) you'll be able to attend all our events and parties but everyone will be carded at the bar.
3) Sponsors - Did I already mention nVIDIA and Apple?? Oops. We'll have a number of sponsorship announcements in the coming weeks. Rumor has it prizes will be better than last year...
4) Rules - Kindergarten playground rules apply. We're independents so we try to keep rules to a minimum and common sense a given. Oregon doesn't allow for smoking in public buildings, restaurants or in Eugene bars so all ingestion of carcinogenic matter is to be done outside the building (seemed to be a popular place among many of the artists last year or they may have been artistic looking coders - most likely all marketing types masquerading as game developers).
Everyone should be aware we'll be in a very 'lively' auditory space so hearing the speakers can be a challenge, keeping additional distractions like Cell Phone games in sessions to a minimum is polite. Flash photography is allowed except if you're planning to use the photos for blackmail.
5) Commercial Booths - NO. IGC is in the same venue as last year with more people. This is an area we'll consider expanding in the future, but venues that facilitate booths cost more to host a conference and make keeping the IGC pricing low and including food a challenge.
6) More... More... More... Lots more important things still to be annonced about Indie Games Con (IGC) by the way we left the D for developer out as we may expand to make this a fan Con as well as dev. conference in the future.
