Alternative to Right Click for Mac

Hi folks, quick question, I was just wondering what the alternative was to using 'right click' for Macs? My mouse only has one button :)

I've tried all the usual suspects (e.g. CTRL + click, ALT + click, CMD + click, etc) but nothing works (currently trying to delete an unwanted point on the graph of a particle emitter). For the record I've also done a search of the forums but couldn't find anything relevant.

Thanks in advance

Usually If you have only one button, then CTRL+CLICK is the way to right click in OSX. If you're running windows on your Mac, then this doesn't work -- you'll either need a two button mouse ($10 at walmart), or a keyboard with a menu key.

What software are you using that you cannot CTRL+CLICK in?

I'm currently just running OSX (can't stand Windows haha) and it's the Torque Game Builder that isn't responding to CTRL + click for some reason. Hmmm I may need to invest in a new mouse...

How old is your Mac? Apple hasn't shipped a one-button mouse since 2005. I think the current "mighty mouse" defaults to a one-button configuration, but that can be fixed with a quick visit to the Mouse pane in System Preferences.

I don't think it's as old as that, maybe about 4 years though so not far off it. It is the "mighty mouse" that I have, but I hate setting it up to work as a two button mouse because I'm so used to just being able to press it anywhere. I might actually have a spare around here somewhere...

Setting it up to right-click is actually really easy.
Open System Preferences, click Mouse, and then set the right side (or wherever you actually want) to "Alternate Mouse Button" and you're done =)
