Autodesk Education Suite Student version Question

I am looking at buying the Autodesk Education Suite for Entertainment Creation 2011 Student Version with a purpetual license.
Does anyone know of a reason I shouldn't. Will I be able to import models made with this student version into other programs such as Torque?
I know I cannot legally sell anything made with the student version but I am interested in learning with it and want to make sure I am making a good choice.
Thanks!

At least, I had no trouble with 2010 or previous version and exporting to torque or obj files.
Theres a benefit to it as well, usually you can upgrade from the student version to a professional version at a serious discount if you find a good reseller.
